I have another hat on recently, and that is a Magician at a Trade Show. If you have a product which you would like to sell at a Trade Convention, then you should seriously consider getting a close-up magician.
A Magician at a Trade Show will attract spectators and potential buyers to the stand and engage them with bafffling magic. The crowd in itself will draw others to the stand. This allows you create a bond with the spectators whilst the sales folk at the stand are busy. The trade show magician guides them to the sales team.
I can also include the product in the magical presentation. So using magical skills to promote the product itself in the show. How cool is that! It will really help imprint the product into the buyers mind.
I worked at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry at a large painting and decorating trade show not so long ago. I was working with three other excellent sales team from Big Wipes.
There team do amazing demos and you can check that out in the link above. I really enjoyed working with the team and by all accounts, the feeling was mutual.
Corrina, the Marketing Manger of Big Wipes sent this email the week after, ‘Our company, Big Wipes, booked Ian Souch – Magician – for an exhibition a few weeks ago and I cannot recommend him enough. His magic was, in the true sense of the word, awesome and all the visitors to our stand were blown away. Usually our product demos make people gasp, but Ian even overshadowed the magic of Big Wipes! Ian quickly became part of our team as well, as he is very personable with a great sense of humour. I would definitely hire him again.’
